Aang
  • As the Avatar, Aang worked with both Fire Lord Zuko and Earth King Kuei to restore Earth Kingdom sovereignty over territory it lost during the Hundred Year War. He acted to mediate the Harmony Restoration Movement.
    • Shortly after, Aang and Katara helped settle an impasse between Fire Lord Zuko and Earth King Kuei over the Fire Nation colonies.
    • Aang intervened during the Battle for Yu Dao and supported the integration of cultures that occurred over a prolonged period of colonialism. This prevented the escalation of conflict between the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom.
  • With Fire Lord Zuko, Aang transformed the Fire Nation colonies into the United Republic of Nations, the capital being Republic City.
  • Aang formed the Air Acolytes from the members of the Official Avatar Aang Fan Club. With the Air Acolytes, Avatar Aang restored the four air temples and established Air Temple Island, which became the epicentre of Air Nomad culture in the Avatar World.
    • Aang also traveled around the world and found surviving breeds of sky bison and winged lemurs.
  • Sometime after the war's end, Katara and Aang married. Eventually, they parented three children: Bumi, Kya, and Tenzin.
  • Aang was involved in the trial of criminal malefactor Yakone. Aang used energybending to remove Yakone's bending abilities as his renegade bloodbending was a threat to the safety of Republic City.
  • Prior to his death, Aang appointed the Order of the White Lotus to protect his reincarnation.
  • Aang died at the biological age of 66. He was succeeded by Korra.
  • In 170 AG, Aang's spirit appeared to Korra and restored her connection with her three other elements before imparting with her the knowledge of energybending.
Katara

  • Katara assisted in carrying out the Harmony Restoration Movement by helping transport Fire Nation colonials back to the Fire Nation.
    • Shortly after, Katara and Aang helped settle an impasse between Fire Lord Zuko and Earth King Kuei over the Fire Nation colonies.
  • Sometime after the war's end, Katara and Aang married. Eventually, they parented three children: Bumi, Kya, and Tenzin.
  • Following her husband's death, Katara assumed the role of Avatar Korra's waterbending master.
  • After settling in the Southern Water Tribe, Katara became part of the Southern Council of Chieftains and Elders, which served as the tribe's de facto government until it gained independence from the North following Harmonic Convergence.
  • Over the years, Katara became widely known as the best healer in the Avatar World.
    • Katara nursed injured rebels during the entirety of the Water Tribe Civil War.
    • Katara oversaw Korra's physical therapy following her battle with Zaheer in 171 AG.

Zuko

  • As the Fire Lord, Zuko worked with both Earth King Kuei and Avatar Aang to restore Earth Kingdom sovereignty over territory it lost during the Hundred Year War. He supported the Harmony Restoration Movement.
    • A failed assassination attempt on Zuko was conducted by Kori Morishita a year after the movement's proposal.
    • Zuko visited the town of Yu Dao, the oldest Fire Nation colony in the Earth Kingdom. After witnessing the cultural immersion between both nations, Zuko changed his stance and withdrew his support from the Harmony Restoration Movement, leading to a conflict between him and the Earth King.
  • Zuko led his army to Yu Dao in order to protect his nation's citizens from being removed from the colony because of the Harmony Restoration Movement, and was met with opposition from the Earth Kingdom military. Mediation from Avatar Aang prevented the escalation of conflict.
  • Zuko turned to Azula to help him find his mother, Ursa, whom he finally found in Hira'a.
  • With Avatar Aang, Zuko transformed the Fire Nation colonies into the United Republic of Nations, the capital being Republic City.
    • Zuko commissioned for a statue of Aang to be built in Republic City.
    • A statue in Zuko's honor was built at the Central City Station in Republic City.
  • Eventually, Zuko had Izumi, who acquired the Fire Nation throne in 167 AG after he stepped down as Fire Lord.
  • Along with Chief Tonraq, Zuko traveled to the Northern Water Tribe in order to safeguard P'Li's prison alongside Chiefs Desna and Eska. The group unsuccessfully tried to prevent Zaheer and the Red Lotus from freeing P'Li. He traveled to the Misty Palms Oasis with Tonraq to rendezvous with Chief Lin Beifong, where he learned of the Red Lotus and its mission to annihilate world leaders. Zuko promptly returned to the Fire Nation in order to safeguard his daughter.
  • After the Red Lotus was neutralized, Zuko traveled to Republic City in order to attend Jinora's anointment as an airbending master.
  • In 174 AG, Zuko accompanied his daughter to Republic City in order to attend Prince Wu's coronation as Earth King.
  • Zuko, currently 90 years old, continues to travel the Avatar World as an unofficial ambassador for peace.
Toph

  • Sometime after the war, Toph founded the Beifong Metalbending Academy to teach the specialized art of metalbending.
    • Sometime after, Toph and Sokka settled a dispute with Master Kunyo over ownership of the academy.
  • During the Battle for Yu Dao, Toph helped Sokka and Suki sabotage the Fire Nation's tundra tanks.
  • Toph served as the first Chief of Police for Republic City's Metalbending Police Force.
    • Toph was involved in the trial of criminal malefactor Yakone. She and her police force were present at Yakone's arrest and subsequent trial.
  • Eventually, Toph gave birth to two daughters, Lin Beifong and Suyin Beifong, from two different fathers. The former followed in her footsteps and became Republic City's Chief of Police while the latter left the United Republic to form the city of Zaofu, which Toph often visited before she decided to travel the world in search of enlightenment.
  • In 174 AG, Toph helped Korra return to fighting shape by informing her about the residual traces of mercury inside her body and by urging her to let go of her past fears.
  • Toph is currently 86 years old and resides in the Foggy Swamp, where she often spars with members of the Foggy Swamp Tribe.
Sokka
  • Sokka assisted in carrying out the Harmony Restoration Movement, and was the one who came up with the operation's name.
  • During the Battle for Yu Dao, Sokka masterminded a plan to sabotage the Fire Nation's tundra tanks along with Suki and Toph.
  • Sometime after, Sokka assisted Toph settle a dispute with Master Kunyo over ownership of the Beifong Metalbending Academy.
  • Sokka served as the Chairman and Southern Water Tribe representative for the United Republic Council. He also briefly served as Chief of the Southern Water Tribe.
  • Sokka was involved in the trial of criminal malefactor Yakone. As Chairman of the United Republic Council at the time, he delivered Yakone's guilty verdict.
  • Sokka died at an unknown age, sometime between 158 and 170 AG. A statue in his honor was erected in front of the Southern Water Tribe Cultural Center in Republic City.
Suki
  • Suki and the other Kyoshi Warriors were appointed by Mai to serve as Zuko's personal guards following the failed assassination attempt.
  • During the Battle for Yu Dao, Suki enlisted Sokka and Toph's help in sabotaging the Fire Nation's tundra tanks.
